Westcountry Storytelling Festival

THE WESTCOUNTRY STORYTELLING FESTIVAL AT EMBERCOMBE
Friday 24thMonday 27th AUGUST 2012

Once upon a time there was a small, magical, eco-festival, which would, every two years, on the Bank Holiday weekend in August, put up yurts and marquees, light fires and hang out flags as storytellers from all over the globe and obscure parts of the Westcountry made their way towards the green Devon countryside to tell their enthralling tales. In 2010, this nomadic little festival put down its lively, wriggling roots at Embercombe, near Exeter, and sprouted. People tumbled over themselves to buy a ticket and the festival sold out.

Seed is happy to be working as a part of the team that will deliver the Westcountry Storytelling Festival on the August Bank Holiday Weekend in 2012.  Victoria, Festival Co-ordinator is working specifically with the artists and volunteers and Sophie is the Duty Manager.
