It was a wild wet week – brilliant!
1. Seize the Day Bristol Folk House Saturday 16th June 8pm
The UK “Green” band Seize the Day are excited to be at the Big Green Week.

2. “Children Who Love The Planet” by Nandita’s Dream Author and Artist
Coexist Exhibition Space Hamilition House Friday 15th June 10am -12noon
Author and musician Sarah Patterson and artist Dorrie Joy offer a session based on the inspirational children’s adventure “Nandita’s Dream”. Here children can discuss their dreams for the amazing world we share and what they’d like to see happen on the planet.
Nandita’s Dream is a book and world music album featuring Black Umfolosi, Sheema Mukherjee and Sura Susso. Journey with Nandita as she goes deep into the rainforest with the children of the People Tribe… We’ll be singing, talking and drawing. www.nanditasdream.com
3. The Big Green Chair by Seed is being launched at Big Green Week and will be located all week at BGW HQ at the Colston Hall. The idea of the chair is that it roams the country, being the backdrop for intimate, almost fireside evenings with some of the UK’s leading Eco speakers. The speaker is often preceded with a local singer songwriter or poet; and after the speaker finishes, they are invited to sign the chair and over time making it an iconic symbol of hope and progress. At the BGW we hope to have many of the speakers have interviewed in the Big Green Chair and signing it – giving the chair a great launch on it’s national tour.
